Candy Cane Candles

I saw something like this on Pinterest (three hours of my life I won't ever get back) and decided to make my own version.
You will need a pillar candle, two boxes of candy canes, some decorative ribbon, and a glue gun.  Simply glue the candy canes around the candle with the curved part protruding somewhat over the bottom edge of the candle.  The candy canes won't be the exact same size so you will need to align them as straight as you can on the bottom.  The top edge doesn't matter.  I found it easier to turn the candle upside down while gluing the candy canes on it.  Then tie some decoative ribbon around the candle.
The supplies for making two candles cost me less than $10.00 and I think they would make great centerpieces on a holiday table.
Give one of these a try!
