I have a bit of a penchant for gluing candy to styrofoam (look here, here, here, and here) so I was thrilled when I found this gum drop wreath here. I have been waiting until Christmas to make it and I just love how it turned out.
You will need a 10 inch styrofoam wreath and about three pounds of gum drops (depending upon how many find their way into your mouth).
Simply attach the gum drops to the wreath with a glue gun. I started around the outside edge and worked my way around towards the center. I placed the gum drops in a random color pattern and I like the effect.
Then I placed a length of ribbon around the wreath and tied a large bow. I placed the wreath on my door using a metal wreath hanger (the finished wreath is quite heavy).
Give this wreath a try!
It looks good enough to eat! Seriously, very pretty.
