I should start with a disclaimer. These treats do not contain any candy corn nor do they even taste like candy corn. I just made some candied popcorn in orange and yellow and put it in these awesome triangle-shaped bags to look like candy corn.
Everyone loved the red, white, & blue popcorn that I made for the Fourth of July so I decided to make some in candy corn colors for Halloween. This popcorn is so easy to make. Preheat your oven to 250 degrees. Pop two bags of unflavored popcorn in the microwave. Place in a large bowl removing as many unpopped kernels as you can. In a medium saucepan, bring 1 stick of butter, 1/2 cup sugar, 1 T. corn syrup, 3 T. water, and 1 8-oz. package of Jello to a boil. Stir for 3-4 minutes until the mixture is thick. Pour the mixture over the popcorn and stir to coat evenly. Transfer to a cookie sheet and bake for 20 minutes, stirring once half way through. Allow the popcorn to cool and then break it into small pieces.
I remembered that I had these triangle-shaped bags left over from another project and thought they would be perfect for candy corn! I left one bag of popcorn plain and placed that in the bottom of the bags. Then I layered some orange popcorn (made with orange Jello) and then some yellow (made with lemon Jello). Then I tied some orange and yellow curling ribbon around the bags. So cute!
Two batches of the candied popcorn and one bag of plain popcorn yielded 20 bags. These would be great to give to neighbors and colleagues and would also be a great favor at a Halloween party. Give them a try!

Loving the popcorn! I would love for you to add this to my link-up!

Thanks,

I wouldn't even make the popcorn, I'd buy it and pack it according to the colors. Pinning your idea thanks!
