Chocolate Cake In A Mug

Do you have two minutes?  Do you have a mug?  Do you have a few basic ingredients?  Then you can have chocolate cake whenever you want!  I don't know if that is a good thing or a bad thing...
I found the recipe here and it could not be easier!  Here is what you need:
3 tablespoons vegetable oil
3 tablespoons milk
1 egg
1/4 teaspoon vanilla
3 tablespoons flour
4 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
pinch salt
3 tablespoons chocolate chips
Mix the oil, milk, egg, and vanilla with a fork or small whisk in a microwave-safe mug.  Add the rest of the ingredients and mix well.  Microwave on high for two minutes.  Serve immediately.

It is so delicious but it is a bit rich.  I actually had a difficult time finishing the whole thing so you might want to share it with your Valentine!
Give it a try!

  8. I saw this on the Keep Calm linkup and had to click over--I just made this last night for the first time and LOVED it! Who would have thought that a few basic ingredients, mixed together in a coffee mug, would come out tasting so delicious by the simple process of microwaving?? I'm off to make another one tonight. ;)

  12. I tried this today & wasn't a fan. Be careful that it doesn't over cook & get tough. It will be rubbery.
