I found these super easy valentines here and made them during a snowstorm last weekend. I decided to give the new teachers some love because we are all stuck spending this evening at school conducting parent teacher conferences! Whoever created our calendar this year is just mean (especially since I predict that very few parents will come).
If you suddenly remember that you signed up to bring treats to your child's classroom today, you can definitely make these! Everything you need can be found at the grocery store and I made twelve of them in just a few minutes. You need bottled water, Kool-Aid singles (I picked cherry in honor of Valentine's Day), and paper straws. Go here to download the adorable Love Potion No. 9 tags.
You can cut some strips of scrapbook paper to cover the label on the water bottle, if desired. Attach the Kool-Aid packet and the paper straw to the bottle with some glue dots. Wrap some baker's twine around the bottle, attach the tag to the twine, and tie in a bow. Easy peesy!
I printed the tag on some cardstock and then I punched them out with my 2-inch circle punch.
Thanks to Amy from Positively Splendid for such a fabulous (and easy) idea! Give these a try!
Happy Valentine's Day

Thanks for this really great idea! I think I'll try it for St Patrick's day (Lime Koolaid?).
